So some of you maybe on a total health journey. You may have also seen Slimming World in Spalding with Charlotte in class. (You can’t miss her she’s little loud and well 🤪🤪 Charlotte 😂)
There are these things called body magic awards. Something slimming world offers to their members to get moving be it through swimming dancing walking even Zumba!! Any activity!!
So if you are working towards one of there awards as a little well done from me when you get one you can come along and try a Zumba class for half price 🥰🥰🤩
Now it’s not just Charlottes group it’s also

DID YOU KNOW…? 💚

Did you know that in Slimming World we have members who run marathons? 🏃‍♀️

Did you know we have personal trainers, weightlifters, cyclists, swimmers and people who simply want to become the healthiest version of themselves? 💪

If you think Slimming World is just about jacket potatoes and spaghetti Bolognese (which, by the way, you can absolutely still enjoy! 😋), then you really don’t know it all…

One thing I always encourage my members to do is increase their protein intake. Not because we’re on some high-protein diet, but because protein is incredibly important for our overall health and, most importantly, it helps keep us feeling fuller for longer. That means less grazing, fewer cravings and feeling much more satisfied after meals.

Here’s something that surprises so many people…

When we lose weight, we don’t just lose body fat. I know… that really does suck! 😅 We can also lose muscle mass. That’s why eating enough protein, together with being active, is so important. It helps support and maintain our muscles while we’re losing weight, which is exactly what we want.

The beauty of Slimming World is that you don’t need to count calories, weigh every ingredient or track your macros. By simply following the Food Optimising plan, you’ll naturally learn how to build balanced meals that nourish your body and leave you feeling satisfied.

🥗 Today’s Slimming World lunch is a perfect example…

💪 Around 74g of protein on just one plate!

I blended together:
🐟 1 tin of tuna
🫘 1 tin of butter beans
🥒 Half a cucumber
🧅 Half an onion
🥣 Fat-free high-protein yoghurt
🧂 Salt & pepper

Then I spread it onto two toasted slices of Jason’s wholemeal sourdough. One slice counts as my Healthy fibre choice, and I can enjoy two slices every day on the plan if I want to.

Alongside that I had a generous serving of edamame beans and rocket… simply because I absolutely love them! 🥰

Honestly though, this heat has me craving nothing but fresh fruit. It’s cool, refreshing, packed with goodness, and keeping me well on track! ☀️💚

Perfect for hot summer days as a sharing starter 😋 these are thai fresh spring rolls. Inside rice paper wraps (1.5swip each) I’ve placed cooked prawns but you could use raw (preference) grated carrot, cabbage, courgette, peppers, lettuce, spring onion and 2tbsp of sriracha for all of them (1 swip) dipping sauce was made of 25g peanut butter (1 heathy fat choice) soy sauce and water. On the side edemame beans with chilli flakes and salt. Yummy 🤤

🇵🇱 Polish dinner on tonight! 😁

Sometimes you just need a proper comfort meal, and this one definitely hit the spot. Crispy homemade schnitzel, creamy potato and celeriac mash, and a fresh salad with the most delicious dressing plus healthy calcium choice for parmesan.

✨ The dressing was made with fat-free protein yoghurt, anchovies, lemon and garlic, giving it all the creamy Caesar-style flavour without the heaviness.

💛 The schnitzel was cooked using 1 kcal spray, keeping it lighter while still giving that lovely golden crunch.

🔸 Swips: 4.5 swips for 25g breadcrumbs used in the schnitzel.

Who says healthy eating means giving up your favourite family meals? Food Optimising is all about finding those little swaps so you can enjoy the foods you love while staying on track.

💙 Happy Father’s Day 💙

Unfortunately, I can’t spend today with my dad as we live over 1,000 miles apart. Days like today make the distance feel even bigger, and I miss him more than ever.

This photo from my wedding day will always be one of my favourites, a moment I’ll treasure forever. No matter how far apart we are, a dad’s love, support and guidance never really feel far away.

I know today can be filled with happiness for some, and longing or difficult emotions for others. Whether you’re celebrating with your dad, remembering him, or missing him from afar, I’m sending you lots of love today.

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, grandads and father figures in our Slimming World family. Thank you for everything you do. 💙
