Altar designing in the sunshine ☀️

I was lucky enough to be gifted the most beautiful roses from SouthWest Little Explorers | Kat’ gorgeous garden. They smell like HEAVEN!

Spending a sunny afternoon in my garden, creating an altar with them, was a complete blessing 🌹

I’ve kept the flowers in the fridge since the weekend, hoping to share them with a few more women in tonight’s circle (this time in a completely different design) 🫶🏻

Planning the altar today will definitely not involve relaxing in the garden, as I’ll have my three-year-old helping me.

It might not be quite as peaceful, but it’s real life. And I wouldn’t have it any other way ✨

Gathering under the Gemini New Moon ✨

Another wonderful circle surrounded by incredible women. My goodness we are amazing, so much depth to us all - and I can definitely conclude that women are goddesses.

Our evening included relaxing with guided meditation, intuition connecting with journaling, feeling human with our sharing circle and having fun by creating a spell candle ✨

Making an altar is my way of slowing down ✨

When creating an altar I’m not thinking about my never ending to do list… I’m creating, and my mind can switch off a little!

Gathering flowers, arranging colours and shapes, and learning to trust my intuition. (As a perfectionist, it’s taken me a long time to get to this relatively calm mindset)

Much more than decoration, an altar acts as a way to bring me back to myself.
And becomes the heart of our circles 💖 a visual reminder to slow down and be present.

I love sharing them with a room full of wonderful women 🫶🏻

✨ Private Summer Ritual ✨

Such a fun addition to a camping weekend with a group of six children.

We began with a nature walk, spotting wild plants and gathering flowers to create a beautiful Earth altar in the heart of the campsite.

Then we made this summer citrus spell, setting intentions for adventure, friendship, joy and all the magic of the season ahead. Along the way we explored the meanings and stories behind different herbs, flowers and spices.

One of the most wonderful things about childhood is the ability to imagine, believe and find magic in the world around us. 🌿☀️🍊🧚🏻‍♀️

I don’t think I realised how much breastfeeding would shape my early motherhood experience 🤍

Not just physically… but emotionally.

The hours spent feeding, the tiredness, the lack of freedom, the questions, the “is this normal?”, the feeling of being so close to my baby but so far away from my old identity.

I often felt like I was doing it alone.

That’s what made me want to create something for breastfeeding mums locally, a wellness event with Rosanna from Odyssey of Motherhood where women can come together, relax, talk honestly, ask questions, and feel supported.

Because I don’t think it’s meant to be done alone.
