Following our recent post on Luke’s recovery, we wanted to share a lovely update 💙

First and most importantly, Luke is continuing to recover well following his operation, and we are all so pleased to see his strength and progress.

It was also wonderful for Marie and the team to receive a thank you card and flowers from Luke’s mum, Sarah, following the support provided during this difficult time for Luke and his family.

You’ve got this, Luke. We’re all still rooting for you. 💙

When it comes to Autism, some things don’t get spoken about....

The hardest part isn’t the diagnosis, it’s the silence where support should be. As a parent, you become everything: advocate, teacher, therapist, protector, wearing a different hat every single day, just to make sure your child has what they need in a world that often doesn’t provide it.

Autism Awareness Month may have passed, but the reality doesn’t stop and neither does the need for understanding and support. Because this isn’t just a moment in time, it’s everyday life for so many families, and it deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.

So, let’s talk about it, share your advice, your experiences, or what’s helped you or your family along the way.

This morning, we were truly inspired by the conversations shared by the OurJay Foundation on Good Morning Britain. As a healthcare provider, we couldn’t agree more, access to defibrillators saves lives, and more communities, businesses, schools, and public spaces should have them readily available.

Every second counts during a cardiac emergency. A publicly accessible defibrillator can mean the difference between life and death. Increasing awareness, accessibility, and confidence in using defibs is something we should all stand behind. It is definitely something we train to our staff here at Komplex.

Help us find the person who saved Hugh’s life…

Hugh was on holiday in Tunisia in 1988. One night, he dived into a swimming pool and hit his head at the bottom…

He was found face down in the water by a man walking past. A complete stranger who pulled him out and saved his life.

That moment changed everything for Hugh. He survived but suffered a life-changing spinal cord injury. All Hugh remembers is that the man was flying back to Birmingham the next day.

No name. No face.
No way to say thank you.
He still doesn’t know who it was.

Just imagine that.

That’s how Hugh describes the moment that changed everything. Being told your life will never be the same is something no one is prepared for.
