We are an innovative provider of education and care for children, young people and adults with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

Our goal is to empower individuals to grow. The word ‘growth’ is personal to each and every one of us. We believe that each individual has a unique set of skills and abilities, and their diversity should be encouraged, developed and celebrated. Our roles are to find ways to discover how.

Aurora Keyes Barn pupils discover that science is for everyone 🧪

Their hard work led to them to being crowned National SEND School of the Year in the National Modeshift STARS Travel Awards in March.

Claire said: “It was wonderful to learn that Aurora Hedgeway School has received this award. It’s testament to the hard work of pupils, staff, parents and the co-operation of local residents. The school has used innovative ways to make travelling to this rural school easier and safer."
