UNBELIEVABLE!!! The first athlete to run sub 2 hours for a marathon! Not only that, but the previous World Record was broken by two other athletes too!! What a day of running!! But, even if you ran the distance in 8 hours, you are still a marathon runner and have become one of the 1% who will complete a Marathon in their lifetime! You're all amazing. 🙌🏻

Marathon season is here 🇬🇧🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

If you’re getting ready for Manchester or London, (or elsewhere!) don’t overlook one of the simplest ways to support your performance and recovery… sports massage/recovery sessions.

✨ **Before race day**
A pre-event massage can help loosen tight muscles, improve circulation, and get your body feeling ready to go without overdoing it, although I'd recommend at least a week before the big day.

💪 **After you cross the finish line**
As well as good nutrition, hydration and sleep a post-marathon massage focuses on recovery — easing soreness, reducing stiffness, and helping you get back on your feet quicker (and with a lot less pain!).
