If you had your first MenB vaccine at least 4 weeks ago don’t forget to book your second one.

If you are aged 17 - 18 you can book using the link below. If you are over 18 or prefer to book by telephone please call us on 01962 764131

We can complete courses for patients that have received the first dose at a different location & are still able to start new courses if you meet the eligibility criteria

MONDAY AUGUST 17th

We have arrived this morning to a sign at the traffic lights at the Twyford end of Hazeley Road advising the road is closed between 8am & 4pm for 2 days.

Please note that access to the Pharmacy from the traffic lights is OPEN.

We believe that it is the Morestead end of Hazeley Road that is closed but we have not received any official notification.

The Pharmacy will be offering MenB vaccinations to eligible groups from Monday July 20th (online bookings open today July 13th).

You can use this service if you're 17 to 18 years old and born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008. You must be registered with a GP surgery in England.

You can get a walk-in MenB vaccine at the pharmacy if you were born on or after 21 July 2001, and for the first time this autumn you are:

⚫️ starting university
⚫️starting at some further education colleges as a residential student

Please visit the Pharmacy to discuss your vaccination as you will not be able to book online.

International students and students from Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and those who are travelling abroad to study are also eligible.

You do not need to be registered with a GP surgery to use the walk-in service.

During this period of hot weather take a moment to check you are storing your medications correctly.

Try to collect your prescriptions when you are on the way home rather than leaving them in your car for a prolonged period of time.

The efficacy of your medications might be altered by extremes of temperature.

‼️⛔️🚨 ADVANCE NOTICE 🚨⛔️‼️

We have been advised that from Monday June 22nd there will be temporary traffic lights involving the entrance to the village carpark at Twyford. The works are anticipated to last approximately 3 weeks. (See attached photos).

This is bound to cause congestion & difficulties entering & exiting the carpark.

If you are collecting regular repeat medication you may find it easier to visit later in the day.

Please be aware that the walk-in clinic times have changed at Twyford Surgery & this will impact how busy the Pharmacy is between 9am & 10.30am.

If you are collecting routine repeat medication you may prefer to plan your visit for later in the day 💚
