Too good not to share…

"I love Live + Flow! I use it almost every day and there is so much content to choose from. The membership is easy to use and Beks' guidance is so supportive.

I love how easy it is now to bring yoga into my life. It feels so good knowing I can dip in and out whenever I choose and create my own regular practice without paying tor expensive classes.

And being able to practise live together each month makes it even more special."

If you'd like to connect with a real yoga teacher (me!), who actually knows your name, and feel part of something that is supportive, intimate and real, without all the noise of social media?

Join me inside our membership, Live + Flow. It's a special place, and whether you're brand new to yoga or have an established practice but want to feel held within a community, you're very welcome.

Inside the membership you'll find 150+ videos, Monthly Live Classes, a monthly calendar of classes to keep you on track, mini series to find continuity and growth, and regular little checks in from me.
It's free for 14 days and after that free trial, there's a little bonus gift too!

It's affordable (£14.99 a month) and there aren't any hidden costs. What's stopping you from giving it a go....

If you’re going through a difficult season, self-care can often feel like one more thing on an already impossible list. Yet those are often the moments when caring for yourself matters most.

It’s a time to pause and check in with your heart. To notice how you’re responding to life’s challenges. To reflect on the patterns, behaviours and relationships around you, and to make the choices you need to make in order to create the life you want to live.

We can’t always control what happens to us, but we can choose how we meet it.

You are the architect of your life.

As someone who has travelled a long road with my own mental health, I know first-hand how transformative yoga can be. Beyond the physical practice, it offers tools that can gently shift perspective, regulate the nervous system and help us find steadiness when life feels uncertain.

My own life feels pretty messy right now, but yoga and nature continue to provide a calm and steady anchor. They remind me that contentment isn’t found in perfect circumstances - it’s something we can cultivate within ourselves, even during life’s more challenging chapters.

And perhaps most importantly, when we choose presence over panic and steadiness over drama, we create something different for our children to witness and learn from.♥️

You’ll rarely hear me say yoga will “change your life” (although I think it’s possible)…But I will say this: it changes how I move through mine.♥️🫶🏻

That’s why I keep returning to it. As a teacher, yes - but more importantly as a human who needs grounding, rest, strength, breath and space too.🤍

I LOVE my weekly class with my wonderful teacher and sharing those 75 mins with Gemma, the yogis in the room, and my heart, is a game changer.💚

If life feels fast and overwhelming, yoga will help you to slow down, listen and feel more present… I don’t think anyone has ever regretted going to a yoga class… well maybe hot yoga 🥵🤢 (the only yoga class I’ve ever walked out of! 😂)

Have a lovely day.
Beks xx

My clients often come for the yoga… and quickly realise it’s so much more than that. A space to slow down, soften, exhale and simply be held for a while.💛

Our garden sanctuary in Twyford is so much more than movement on a mat. It’s a space to exhale, slow down, sip tea in the sunshine, listen to the birds, reconnect and return to yourself for a while.

No pressure. No rushing. No expectations. Just gentle yoga, calm energy, supportive guidance, nourishing conversation and a peaceful pause that feels a little like stepping out of real life for a moment. Often you don’t need some big reset or set of new goals, just a chance to listen quietly to your heart.

We are a little sanctuary of love and kindness for tired minds and busy hearts.🫶🏻💚 I can’t wait to welcome you sometime soon. Love Beks x

This meditation practice has been a game changer for me over the last few years. It’s enabled me to find peace and contentment in my heart when I thought it wasn’t possible. I hope it helps you too.

Sometimes the most powerful shift
is simply softening what you’re holding 🤍

A gentle practice to come back to yourself.♥️🫶🏻

🌱Wow. May. You’re here already. I’II quote my daughter at breakfast this morning... “this year is going really fast mummy!”

Consistency in showing up is what we’re exploring this month. And attention - because where attention goes, energy flows. I love this concept and how naturally these two come together, especially in the quiet moments when no one is watching.✨

Yoga isn’t just something to do on your mat...

It’s in the small, quiet choices we return to each day.
A breath and a smile in the morning to set the tone of the day.
A nourishing meal you quietly make for yourself.
A powerful moment of self care.

The sun has been shining and I feel a desire to change gear - to up my game! And yet, I suspect we all know, deep down, change rarely comes from big bursts of motivation. Instead it grows through consistency. Gently. Steadily.

And from a quiet steady place, plus a few juggling balls and spinning plates, our Live + Flow Community has been growing, Many more members have been signing up to our new app while others are on their 7 Days To Calm journey. It’s wonderful to be making new connections and I’m so happy to share this spaces with you.

Our whole community is a space to support you with movement, breathwork & meditation - whenever you need it.
No pressure. No overwhelm.

Just a place to return to. A place to be held.
If you feel curious, you’re welcome to explore - there’s a free
14-day trial waiting for you. The link is in the bio or our website - it’s a web app so isn’t yet available on the app Store.

You’ll find us in all the usual places this month - on the mat, in our tranquil garden studio (free trial class available - DM me!), in the river (our wild dip + brunch club is full but there’s another in June), and of course online, inside our Live + Flow app - with a library of on demand and live classes.

This month, let go of needing to do more, be more, and soak up the simple, small moments. Quiet consistency. They are always enough.💚🫶🏻

When a muscle goes into spasm, it’s not asking to be pushed harder, it’s asking to feel safe.

Instead of asking 🤔 “how do I stretch this muscle spasm”consider “how do I help this muscle feel safe enough to release?”

Stretching a painful tight muscle can trigger the stretch reflex - where muscle spindles detect rapid or intense lengthening and this can send a signal to the nervous system to protect it, which can cause more tightening and the muscle to shift into “guard mode”. That guarding response is the body basically saying: “This doesn’t feel safe — hold on.”

Instead of forcing a deep stretch (which often feels like what we need but likely to be counterproductive as explained above), try this instead:
gentle pressure (for example using a ball or massage tool), slow movement, and soft, steady breath.

Let the body know it can let go.

Inhale… create space - soften the pain with the breath
Exhale… invite release 🤍

This is where real change happens - not in force, but in awareness. I’ve been on the biggest learning journey when it comes to pain - dealing with it, reacting to it, understanding it, and the union between breath and awareness is powerful.
