As a doctor, one of the questions I’m often asked is whether there are non-invasive treatments that can improve skin quality and body contouring without surgery.

LPG Endermologie is a clinically established mechanical stimulation treatment that works by gently massaging the skin and underlying tissues. This process helps stimulate circulation, support lymphatic drainage, and encourage the production of collagen and elastin—the proteins responsible for skin firmness and elasticity.

Patients often choose Endermologie to help improve the appearance of cellulite, support recovery after certain procedures, and enhance overall skin texture and tone. While it’s not a replacement for a healthy lifestyle, it can be a useful adjunct treatment for those looking to support skin health and tissue quality in a non-invasive way.

Melasma is a chronic pigmentary disorder that typically presents as symmetrical brown patches on the face, often on the cheeks, forehead, and upper lip. Its development is multifactorial, influenced by hormonal fluctuations, genetics, UV and visible light exposure, and inflammatory responses in the skin.

Daily use of a broad-spectrum SPF is critical, even incidental sun exposure can trigger melasma flare ups and undermine treatment results. Prevention and management go hand in hand, understanding your triggers and protecting your skin is the first step toward lasting results.💫💙

Acne is often dismissed as a normal part of adolescence, yet its impact can extend far beyond the skin. For many individuals, acne affects confidence, social interactions, and overall quality of life, while also carrying the risk of permanent scarring.

During it is important to recognise acne as a chronic inflammatory skin condition that deserves timely assessment and evidence-based treatment. Early intervention remains one of the most effective strategies for reducing long-term complications and improving patient outcomes.

I had a wonderful time on a panel recently with and and sharing this wonderful technology with everyone.💙

Hot weather and high humidity can have a bigger impact on your skin than you might think. While humidity can sometimes help the skin retain moisture, excess heat and sweat can also trigger dehydration, breakouts, irritation, redness, and increased oil production. For some people, conditions like acne, rosacea, and eczema can become worse during warmer months.

Changes in temperature and environment can also affect your skin barrier, making it more sensitive and reactive if it’s not properly protected and hydrated.

Watch to find out more and learn how to keep your skin balanced, healthy, and glowing all season long.💙

Skin Cancer Awareness Month Part 2

Early detection can save lives and it starts with knowing what to look for.

The ABCDE rule is a simple guide to spotting warning signs of skin cancer:

A – Asymmetry: One half doesn’t match the other
B – Border: Irregular, blurred, or jagged edges
C – Colour: Uneven shades or multiple colours
D – Diameter: Larger than 6mm (about a pencil eraser)
E – Evolving: Any change in size, shape, or colour

Most melanomas are first detected by patients themselves, and “evolving” is often the most important sign. Any new or changing lesion should be assessed by a healthcare professional promptly.

If you notice anything unusual, don’t ignore it, get it checked. Your skin is worth protecting.💙

Skin Cancer Awareness Month – Part 1

While early detection is vital, prevention remains the most effective strategy in reducing the incidence of skin cancer. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from both natural sunlight and artificial sources such as sunbeds induces cumulative DNA damage within skin cells, contributing to the development of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers.

Daily protection is therefore essential. This includes the regular use of a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher, which protects against both UVA (responsible for photoaging and deeper skin damage) and UVB (the primary cause of sunburn). Sunscreen should be applied generously and reapplied every two hours when exposed to daylight, even on overcast days when up to 80% of UV radiation can still pe*****te cloud cover.

The use of sunbeds should be strongly discouraged, as they are a well-established carcinogen. Protecting your skin is not seasonal, it is a lifelong clinical priority.💙

A wonderful evening at the launch of The French Skincare Bible✨ Thank you to for such a thoughtful and beautifully curated event.

This book is a considered distillation of Dr Marine Vincent’s work as a pharmacist and founder, bringing a more rigorous, evidence-based perspective to skincare while making French pharmacy principles accessible across skin health and modern beauty culture.

A meaningful contribution to how we understand and approach skin through the lens of both science and culture 🤍
