Today was definitely the start of my busy time of year and I absolutely love it when it's like this!

Non stop, piercings and tattoos, warm weather, great clients, what more could I ask for 😍

✨ Custom Tarot Leg Piece, stage 1 ✨

I have been obsessing over doing this idea for the wonderful Becky Willson ever since she showed me some inspiration photos for it and today we got to make a really good start!

Becky wanted Tarot cards to represent things that are important to her life, so I utilised photo references and created The Mother and The Hairdresser along with flowers that are similar to her big lower leg piece I have recently completed so that both legs work well but with different concepts 🖤

Our next stage is to build up varying levels of shading to really make this piece complete and i cannot wait to see it complete!

*Slight distortion/dried plasma present due to the skin being worked on for a long time and it becoming quite warm in the studio during the day

It's been a while since studio mascot Rich had a piercing or tattoo done, so of course we had to do something unique for him!

Vertical industrial! The angles of this awesome piercing had to flow with the curves and most sturdy parts of Rich's ear to work, and it really does work! Super long jewellery has been used for this as he likes to get some good swelling when he's had a piercing, and he's going to be popping in weekly so we can keep an eye on when it's ready to be downsized

🖤 Monday Mum and Daughter Tattoo day 🖤

The lovely ._x wanted to fill a small gap with some very specific dragons and a quote that fits them and her perfectly... the original reference for these had very blank looking tails sooo we added a Feather, a Dagger and a Morningstar (IYKYK) We also added a lovely little locket around her existing arm floral piece and angel wings, making this now a full piece full of love and memories 🥰

And I finally got to tattoo mum Charlotte! She's usually in Chris's tattoo chair even though I have pierced her lots in the past, she had a matching locket for beloved family pets 💖

My teenage son wanted his ear pierced again so of course Mum came through! Black internally threaded jewellery too because he's cool like that

🖤 Girls DO just want to have (Piercings) fun 🖤

It's always a fun time when comes to see me, even when she mildly regrets giving me free reign because I chose a Rook piercing for that amazingly curated ear! To ease that, I also thought a low flat would complete this setup in such a cool way, especially with her jewellery choices

And can we take a moment for Luna's incredible ear lobe shape, this is quite literally a piercers dream because it means her first ever Piercings sit sooo central 😍

Thank you both for such a good afternoon full of laughs and adrenaline
