What pillow? What mattress? What sleeping position?

I donā€™t recommend any particular one.

Our bodies are different and most importantly theyā€™re ever-changing. What feels comfortable today may not feel comfortable tomorrow.

I think the bigger question is not always what bed are we sleeping in, but what shape are we bringing into the bed?

The positions we choose to sleep in can be information. Sometimes weā€™re simply finding the position that allows us to move away from discomfort and rest.

So experiment. Notice. And listen to what feels comfortable for your body right now... and if you cant get comfortable no matter what you do - you may want to be considering getting some body alignment work done...

Iā€™ve tried many of them. And in my own experience, Amatsu has been the one that works best for me.

The way I practise Amatsu, I only work with what the body is ready for.

I donā€™t try to force it somewhere it isnā€™t ready to go.

Because regulation isnā€™t about forcing yourself to relax. Itā€™s about creating the conditions where the body has an opportunity to settle, reorganise and find its way back towards baseline.
