Retinol & Advanced treatments in the Summer?
A question I get asked alot can you continue using retinol during the Summer months & continue with advanced treatments?
You may be nervous due to.possible sun sensitivity & side effects , however if you're investing in treatments you don't want to undo all.the good work by exposing your skin to direct sunlight!
Your routine can continue as normal providing you're following the pre & post Care guidelines & protecting your skin.
Treatments need to be planned sensibly around sun holidays to aid in protecting & healing your skin.
If your skin has climatised to retinol & you're on a consistent routine ,there is no reason why you need to come off it providing you're sun safe..
Apply SPF regularly
Stay in the shade
Wear a hat & sunglasses
Stay hydrated
Eat healthy
If your skin is compromised or sunburnt ,client care always comes first!!
