This Senior Citizens’ Month, we join Ministry of Labour & Social Security and National Council for Senior Citizens Jamaica in celebrating our seniors under the theme “Honouring a Golden Legacy, Shaping a Bold Future.” 👵🏽👴🏽

Our seniors have spent years building families, communities and legacies, and there is still so much living, moving and thriving ahead!

Healthy ageing is supported by staying active, maintaining strength, balance and mobility — all of which can help our seniors remain independent and continue doing the things they enjoy.

The tournament is here, and preparation takes on a whole new meaning.

Akeisha-Lee Byfield (RPT) takes us behind the scenes as she and the team work to ensure the players’ bodies are ready, recovered and optimised for competition. The capping ceremony sets the tone for what’s ahead, and soon after, it’s time to take the field.

All the preparation leads to that first big moment — game one of the tournament, in the bag! 🏏🙌🏾
