That was the thought we carried home from the 11th Biodiversity Action Forum, held on 25 August 2026 at Shangri-La Colombo.

The room brought together people from different worlds business, science, policy and sustainability but the conversation pointed in one direction:

Sri Lanka’s future has to be Nature-Positive.

Because being sustainable is no longer just about doing less damage.

It’s about asking:

What if our actions could actually leave things better than we found them?

That idea resonates deeply with us at Cleantech.

Every time we recover a material instead of letting it become waste, every time we keep a resource in circulation, and every time we find value where others see something to discard, we are taking a small step towards that future. ♻

And that’s what made this Forum special.
