As we mark the final day of World Breastfeeding Week, we want to remind everyone that a sustainable future begins with a healthy and well-nourished child.

For a child to have a healthy start in life, we must also care for and support the mothers who make it possible. Breastfeeding mothers need understanding, encouragement and support from families, communities and workplaces.

Supporting mothers is supporting the future generation.

To our men,

Gone are the days of "mamuna salira." Gone are the days when you had to be strong all the time or hide your pain in silence.

At Sorry I'm Not Sorry, our Venting Room offers you a safe, confidential, and judgment-free space to speak out.

Remember, speaking up is not a sign of weakness—it is a sign of courage.

Vent. Heal. Grow.

Though it’s already the 5th of August, we still welcome you to a new month! 💙

This August, choose mental health over chaos. Remember, mental health is just as important as physical health. Take care of your mind, give yourself permission to rest, speak up when things feel overwhelming, and create safe spaces for yourself and others.

Let’s keep it safe. Let’s keep talking. Let’s prioritize our mental health this month and every day. 🧠💙

Happy New Month from Sorry I’m Not Sorry!
We are all sick.

💙 GOOD MORNING, ADVOCATES!

Today is another chance to put down what’s been weighing you down.

You’ve carried those burdens long enough. You don’t always have to be the strong one, keep everything inside, or pretend that everything is okay.

Sometimes, you simply need someone to hear you out — without judgement. 🫂

🌿 The Venting Room is always open.

No judgement.
No shame.
Just support, active listening, and a safe space to be heard.

Your mental health matters. Let’s make it a priority. 💙

📩 Reach out. Vent. Be heard.

💙 Breaking the Silence Around Postpartum Mental Health

This World Breastfeeding Week, we are reminded that caring for a baby also means caring for the mother. 🤱🏽

Postpartum depression, anxiety, stress and emotional exhaustion are real experiences, yet many mothers suffer silently because of stigma, expectations and the fear of being judged.

A mother does not have to “be strong” all the time. She deserves to be heard, supported and reminded that asking for help is not a weakness.

Let’s create safe spaces where mothers can speak openly about what they are going through without shame or judgment. Sometimes, a simple “How are you really doing?” can make a difference.

💙 Break the silence. Listen without judgment. Support mothers.

This World Breastfeeding Week, let’s remember: a healthy baby needs a supported mother too.

CHECK ON YOUR “STRONG” FRIEND

Some people look okay on the outside while quietly struggling on the inside.

Behind the big smiles, hard work, jokes, and “I’m fine” could be anxiety, stress, loneliness or emotional exhaustion.

Sometimes, the friend who is always there for everyone else needs someone to be there for them too.

Check in. Listen. Don't judge.

🗣️ You deserve a safe space to be vulnerable.
🤝 You don't have to carry everything alone.

Welcome to The Venting Room — a safe space to speak, be heard and feel supported.

Sorry I'm Not Sorry — Breaking the silence, one conversation at a time.

INSIDE THE 40 DAYS

Across 17 districts, 120 advocates helped move men’s mental health from private struggles into public conversations.

133 community conversations created spaces for men to speak, while 578 people joined webinars on issues many men are often expected to endure in silence.

202 men received support, 36 referrals were made, and 9 su***de risks were identified,a reminder that creating safe spaces to talk can do more than raise awareness.

It can open the door to intervention, support and, potentially, save lives.
