Join us on Wednesday, July 8th at 11:00am for "Adaptations of Birds, Big and Small," a children’s Animal House activity at the Werner Wildlife Museum. During this free event, students ages 5-12 will learn to identify and describe the advantages and importance of bird adaptations. They will design, create and share imaginary birds and include descriptions of the birds' adaptations. While outside, they’ll identify the birds present in our bird preserve and discuss their adaptations.
Families are encouraged to bring a sack lunch to enjoy after the program. For additional information, call the Werner at 307-235-2108 or drop by 405 East 15th Street, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Programs are free and are held in the museum’s backyard. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch to enjoy before the program.
