MEDICOS was proud to be part of the 🎗️ 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐄𝐒𝐆 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, which took place from 16 to 18 October at Pavilion Damansara Heights, bringing the community together to champion women’s wellness and sustainability through education and awareness, while raising vital funds to support underprivileged B40 breast cancer patients at PPUM. 💕

Stories of Hope was made by MEDICOS in partnership with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA) and Hospital PICASO, for Pink October 2026. We truly hope this series brings awareness not just for breast cancer, but also for the community of caregivers who show up, stay close and walk together in the journey.

Care for a breast cancer patient does not end when treatment does. 🎀

In the Final Episode of Stories of Hope, we meet Pavithra, a patient support officer, and Jeovelyn, an outreach nurse, from the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA) who share the heart of BCWA in everyday support that helps patients and families navigate life during and after cancer. Additionally, we get to see how they drive public education on general health and breast health issues, including early detection of breast cancer through their Pink Mobile Clinic ‘MURNI’.

This episode closes our Stories of Hope documentary, a three-part series by MEDICOS, made in partnership with the Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA) and Hospital PICASO, for Pink October 2026 looking at the people behind every breast cancer journey: the survivors, the caregivers, the medical professionals, and the community that holds it all together. We hope this series brings awareness not just for breast cancer, but also for the community of caregivers who show up, stay close and walk together in the journey.
