God will always bring you full circle. And He did it with my brother.
First of all, I didn't even realize this is my brother from childhood! We fellowshipped in the same church environment, with my own mother as his spiritual mother. Years went by. Life happened. And now, we reconnected right in the middle of destiny.

What an amazing conversation we had on the morning of the exhibition. We discussed so many possibilities! Plans yet to unfold and trust me, great things are coming!

I saw a man who truly wants to see change in Cameroon.
I saw a man who is already putting in so much effort.
I saw a man whose work and ideas should be adopted and valorized at the highest levels.

He is a TRUE NATION BUILDER!

And let me tell you about his commitment. He showed up with an IV cannula on his hand — in between treatments! That didn't stop him from coming! While some people stayed away for NO reason, sophisticated people like Micah showed up even while sick!

That is dedication. That is character. That is honor.

To crown it all, he offered FULL MEDIA COVERAGE for the event FREE OF CHARGE!!!

Now tell me... where do you find such men? Where?

Awa Micah, thank you for coming home. Thank you for your heart for Cameroon. Thank you for your sacrifice, your professionalism, and your generosity. We have a LOT to do together and I am deeply grateful for this reconnection.

Family is destiny.

Celebrating A Man Who Carries The Next Generation ;

Godlove Njisong

One man who carried the future of the young generation as his personal assignment.
With a HUGE vision of his own GoMAD, a vision big enough to consume any man, he still carried FUSBUS as his personal assignment. Without competition. Without jealousy. With a pure heart.

That is what true leadership looks like.

I want to particularly celebrate him for one thing many did not see. He ensured that our Francophone community was not left out.

He went into the French networks. He spoke to them. He convinced them. He pulled exhibitors from the Francophone community and ensured they were registered, integrated, and felt at home at FUSBUS.

Because of him, FUSBUS was truly national. Truly inclusive. Truly Cameroonian.

In a country where language can sometimes divide us, Godlove chose to be a BRIDGE.

Godlove, thank you for carrying this vision like yours. Thank you for proving that men can and should stand for women. Thank you for standing for unity.

Your heart for the young generation is rare. Your heart for Cameroon is genuine. And your reward will be great.

Celebrating A General With A General's Heart

I connected with him less than 10 DAYS to the FUSBUS exhibition. Less than 10 days!
It was my very good friend and brother, Dr Standley Fongod who is also a sponsor and an executive in the diaspora, that called me and said, "Hey... I'm putting you on a 3-way call with someone who will be a great part of this initiative."

General answered that call... and the rest is history.

General didn't just show up. He showed up with at least 10 OTHER great minds!! all forward thinkers, all ready to collaborate, all ready to build Cameroon.

He gave us FULL support and the right positive energy. He showed up for the press conference. He showed up for the FUSBUS event from START to END. And most touchingly, he purchased from almost EVERY exhibitor. He put his money where his mouth is.

But more importantly, we have found a partner for the future. We will be working with his organization to leverage the immense value he offers as part of our value chain. Why re-invent the wheel when excellence already exists?

General, thank you for believing in a vision you barely knew. Thank you for trusting. Thank you for coming with your people. Thank you for the energy, the wisdom, and the honor you gave.

In 10 days, you did what some couldn't do in 10 months. I am grateful. FUSBUS is grateful. Cameroon is grateful.

Celebrating The Hands That Clothe The Vision

If you have seen me looking elegant at any of our events, there is one name behind it.

Nkafu Sulet My Personal Fashion Designer.

Sulet took her time to understand my body. Not just my style, but my body type, especially with my weight constantly fluctuating from my numerous travels and very unstable schedule. She studies me, she gets me, she covers me.

Some people have complained that I choose to only support her. But what they do not know is the truth; she has benefited the LEAST financially from me. Yes, she has had opportunities and she has leveraged my network, but she has not received the cash that people imagine in their heads. And still, she shows up. Every single time.

That is why I honor her today.

I see her fight. I see her struggle. I see her push through hardships that would make many give up. I see her GOING!! never really complaining, never giving up! These are the characteristics of an entrepreneur who WILL succeed.

Her quest for excellence is unmatched. Her humility is genuine. Her passion is too attractive to ignore.

When I look at Sulet, I don't just see a fashion designer. I see a CLOTHING FACTORY in Cameroon. I see jobs. I see Made-in-Cameroon on global racks. And I know without any single doubt that this will come to fruition.

Sulet, thank you for making it your business that I am properly dressed, with or without my requesting it. Thank you for taking that responsibility as your own. Thank you for always showing up.

And can we talk about what you did? You single-handedly created an entire fashion show for XCAPE. You found the models, styled them, coordinated them, and gave us NEW YORK FASHION WEEK at Krystal Palace!

You are excellence personified.

Celebrating THE VOICE
Ms Vicky Ayomide Fokala 🎤

Some people you meet as service providers, but they stay as destiny partners. That is Vicky.
At first, she was simply recommended to me as a great corporate MC and host for a symposium I organized with UNESCO. Professional, eloquent, excellent.

But God had a bigger plan. She interacted with me on a few other occasions, until the Ladies In The Boardroom project came around and then I truly SAW her.

I saw her passion to see women THRIVE.
I saw how she didn't just host the vision, she CARRIED it.
I saw her consistency, she shows up, she stays, she delivers. Every single time.

The best thing about Vicky? She is her own person.
She is not needy. She is not clingy.
She is extremely humble yet extremely confident.
She is submissive yet she is not a pushover.
She doesn't twist things to influence favors.
She is very direct, yet very respectful.

That balance is RARE.

She has become THE VOICE that our initiatives needed. And I say this boldly!! I don't see any of our projects happening in Cameroon without her. She has given a VOICE to our initiatives, and I recognize that from the depths of my heart.

What moves me most is that she is doing her divine assignment. I see her take on responsibilities I didn't even ask of her. I see her fix things, arrange things, cover gaps etc without being told. I can tell she listens to the Holy Spirit, and that is all I see when I look at her.

Cameroonians should thank God for a woman who has understood what it means to truly stand by other women. Not in competition, but in completion.

Ms. Vicky, thank you for lending us your voice, your grace, your excellence, and your spirit.

FUSBUS has a voice, and it is YOURS.
