At HelpMum, we believe that when caregivers have access to the right information, more children can receive life-saving vaccines at the right time.💚
Through our Infusion Outreach Program, our team recently carried out routine immunization awareness visits across PHCs in Kano and Jigawa States, strengthening community access to vaccination information and reminders.
📍 Kano State
Our outreach covered:
• Sheka PHC
• Gurin Gawa PHC
• Sabuwar Gandu Health Post
• Wailare Health Post
• Naibawa PHC
📍 Jigawa State
Our team also visited:
• Danmasara PHC
• Hardo PHC
During these visits, HelpMum Vaccination Tracker posters were strategically placed in waiting areas, immunization clinics, and other high-traffic points within the facilities to help caregivers easily access vaccination schedules, vaccine timelines, and important immunization information.
Beyond the posters, we engaged healthcare workers on how these materials can support caregiver education and encourage the completion of children’s vaccination schedules.
The response across both states was encouraging. Mothers stopped to read, health workers welcomed the initiative, and meaningful conversations around routine immunization took place within the communities.
Every poster placed, every caregiver reached, and every conversation held is another step toward protecting more children from vaccine-preventable diseases.
Together, we can ensure that no child is left behind.
