This tattoo removal journey is a perfect example of why we don't rush the process
When this client first started, the plan was to lighten the tattoo enough for a cover-up
But after seeing how much it's faded, we've decided to allow more time between treatments and let the body continue doing its work and now we're getting so close that full removal is becoming a real possibility.
One of the most important parts of tattoo removal is giving your body enough time between sessions to naturally clear the ink particles broken down by the laser.
Sometimes, leaving a little longer between treatments can allow us to see just how much more fading is going to happen before deciding on the next step.
And that's the great thing about the process you don't have to decide your end goal on day one.
You can start with the goal of lightening for a cover-up and, as your tattoo fades, decide whether you'd rather continue towards complete removal.
● Trust the process.
● Be patient with your body.
● Let your options evolve as your tattoo fades.
