I thought about simply changing the price and moving on, but that just didn’t feel right, I’m not that kind of gal. Over the years, I’ve shared so much of the Lila Jasmine journey with you. The days of hand-baking bars on the dough table at Mama’s Donuts. The excitement (and nerves!) of moving to contract manufacturing. Welcoming new stockists. Making the move to dairy-free and the whoopsie that followed giving you a run of OhDairy! bars. Introducing Mixed Berry & White Chocolate. The wins, the setbacks, the lessons and everything in between. So it only feels right to share this with you too.
From Monday 8 June, our Lactation Bars will increase from $26.99 to $30.99 per box an increase of approximately 15%. It’s important for you to know that we haven’t increased our prices in four years. We’ve crunched the numbers every which way, reviewed every cost, and held off for as long as we could. Throughout that time we’ve absorbed increases across ingredients, packaging, freight and manufacturing, but to continue creating the products and support you know and love, we need to make an adjustment.
If you’ve been planning an order, you’ll still have the rest of this week to shop at our current pricing before the change takes effect.
