Sometimes we become so focused on the mountain ahead that we forget to notice how far we’ve already come.

The things that once felt impossible may now simply be part of your story. Not because they were easy, but because you kept moving through them, learning, adapting and finding your way.

Take a moment to notice what you’ve already moved through.
What you’ve learned.
What you’ve overcome.
And what still matters enough to keep moving towards.

The next mountain may still feel daunting, but you don’t have to climb it all at once.

One step at a time.

Don’t rush this chapter.

Sometimes growth looks like big changes, and sometimes it simply looks like showing up.

Showing up for your breath.
Showing up for moments of stillness.
Showing up for the small choices that support you.
Showing up for yourself, exactly as you are.

Meaningful change rarely happens all at once. It unfolds when we slow down enough to be present with our lives — one breath, one choice, one day at a time.

Rest is not falling behind.
Pausing is not failing.
Slowing down is often where we begin to hear what we truly need.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need to keep gently showing up.

Change is rarely a straight line.

Some days feel easier than others. There are good days, hard days, old habits that creep back in, moments where we feel like we’re getting somewhere — and moments where it feels like we’ve gone backwards.

That doesn’t mean change isn’t happening.

Real behaviour change is built through small choices, repeated over time. It’s practising something again and again — not doing it once and expecting ourselves to have mastered it.

Sometimes progress is simply noticing sooner.
Choosing differently once.
Starting again after a difficult day.
Taking one small step when the bigger one feels impossible.

Change can be hard. Staying where we are can be hard too. We don’t always get to choose what’s difficult — but we can choose which direction we keep moving in.

You don’t have to get it right every time. You just have to keep returning to the direction you want to go.

“Progress isn’t the absence of setbacks. It’s the willingness to begin again.”

Our minds naturally rehearse worst-case scenarios.

What if, just for today, you practised rehearsing the possibility that things might work out?

Not perfectly. Not exactly as planned.

Just… well enough.

Keep taking the next right step.

Some days, being brave isn’t about doing something extraordinary.

Sometimes it’s simply getting out of bed.
Taking the next breath.
Making the next choice.

This is one of my favourite quotes, and one I come back to often.

“You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”
— C.S. Lewis

We can’t rewrite yesterday.

But we can choose what we do today.

One choice.
One step.
One moment at a time.

Sometimes that’s all it takes to begin changing the ending.

A heartfelt thank you to all the beautiful mamas and divine little ones who came along to Sound & Snuggles.

It was such a special morning of sound, connection, rest, co regulation, community, and soooo much love.

I am so grateful to each of you and your beautiful babies for helping co-create such a gentle, welcoming, and love-filled space.

Quite a few of you asked whether Sound & Snuggles could become a regular gathering, and I would love to explore making that possible.

I’d really value your thoughts:

Would fortnightly or monthly sessions suit you best?

And would Tuesdays or Wednesdays work better?

Let me know in the comments below.

In a world that teaches us to fix, rush, and respond, one of the most healing things we can offer another human being is our full presence.

To truly listen.
To stay.
To create enough safety that someone no longer feels they have to carry it alone.

Sometimes, presence is the medicine.
