• Provide initial assessment, triage, and treatment for animal bite and scratch cases
• Perform wound care and dressing changes
• Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed
• Educate patients on wound care and infection prevention
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
• Implement infection control measures
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team
• Follow infection control protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monthly management meetings

✅ Qualifications:
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN)
• DOH/RITM-trained in Animal Bite Management is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Professional, responsible, and committed to quality patient care
