Calayan Educational Foundation, Incorporated Founded in 1973, CEFI offers over 20 programs in basic education, baccalaureate, and graduate school programs. CALAYAN EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION INC.

(CEFI) is a non-stock, non-profit institution of learning. It was founded in 1973 by Drs. Emeterio and Josefina Calayan. For 23 years, the school was known as the Medical Center Lucena Educational Institutions, Inc. (MCLEI), until it was rechristened with its present name in 1996 in honor of the founders. CEFI became the pioneer paramedical institution in Quezon Province. Our expertise and experie

nce sets the standard in health-related tertiary and vocational programs. At present, CEFI stands alone as the sole paramedical institution in the province, with its Medical Technology, Radiologic Technology and Physical Therapy programs. Expanding its services to accommodate the growing needs of the clientele, CEFI to date is one of the few private institutions in Lucena City that offer pre-elementary, grade school, high school and college courses. Aside from paramedical courses, CEFI also has courses for business, liberal arts, hospitality, criminology, information technology, and teacher education.

TINGNAN | Isinasagawa ng Calayan Educational Foundation, Inc. (CEFI) ngayong Mayo 29, 2026 ang 51st Commencement Exercises sa Lucena Convention Center para sa mga nagsipagtapos mula sa iba’t ibang programa ng institusyon.

Pinangungunahan ni Donalyn Mae C. Gulapa, BS Psychology graduate at Magna Cum Laude ang Class of 2026 bilang Class Valedictorian na siya ring magbibigay ng kanyang Valediction.

Samantala, si Russel Kien V. Ablaza, BS Psychology graduate at Magna Cum Laude, ang mangunguna sa Cefizen Pledge, na nagsisilbing panunumpa ng mga nagsisipagtapos bilang mga bagong alumni ng institusyon.

Bahagi rin ng programa ang Hood Ceremony, Presentation of the Candidates for the Degrees, at Conferral of Degrees and Titles, Distribution of Diplomas and Handing of Academic and Special Awards.

Pangungunahan ni Atty. Deanna Maria Rachel S. Calayan, CEFI President, ang paggawad ng mga degree, diploma, at pagkilala sa mga nagtapos.

Dadalo naman bilang Guest of Honor and Commencement Speaker si Dr. Maria Cielo D. Magno, economist, civil servant, at professor ng School of Economics at College of Law ng University of the Philippines Diliman.

Si Dr. Magno ay dating Undersecretary ng Fiscal Policy and Monitoring Group ng Department of Finance. Noong 2025, ginawaran siya ng The Outstanding Women in Nation’s Service (TOWNS) Award para sa Financial Accountability and Good Governance.

Inaasahang ang mga nagtapos ng Class of 2026 ay magdadala sa kani-kanilang larangan ng propesyon at serbisyo ng mga pagpapahalagang Honor, Scholarship, and Service, na patuloy na itinataguyod ng CEFI sa paghubog ng mga mag-aaral nito.
