A Brave Little Fighter’s Journey to Recovery
At National Hospital & Medical Centre, Lahore, every recovery story is a reminder of hope, expert care, and medical dedication.
A 50-day-old baby girl was admitted to our Nursery/NICU Care under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Khawar Butt with a serious neonatal infection and multiple complex medical concerns. The baby was brought in with fever, poor feeding, lethargy, breathing difficulty, abdominal swelling, and signs of severe illness.
With timely diagnosis, advanced investigations, continuous monitoring, oxygen support, IV antibiotics, blood transfusion support, IVIg, albumin therapy, and dedicated neonatal care, the baby showed gradual and encouraging improvement.
By the grace of Allah and the committed efforts of our medical team, she was discharged in a clinically stable condition, vitally stable, oxygen-free, and taking oral feeds.
