I almost didn’t share this.

Partly because I was embarrassed, and partly because as business owners we’re expected to have everything under control all the time.

But this is the reality of running a small business.

Sometimes months of planning unravel because of one unexpected text message.
Sometimes you’re thousands of kilometres away, trying to enjoy time with your family, while figuring out how you’re going to look after your customers.

The truth is, behind every small business is someone constantly solving problems you’ll probably never see.

Thankfully, this story has a happy ending.
Every single customer I contacted responded with kindness, patience and understanding 🤍
