We are closely monitoring the gulf as we head into the latter part of this week. As it stands MRS is not expecting any major interruption of service as a result of Hurricane Isaias. We will continue to track and monitor and we remind all of our customers that we will keep you informed as conditions change.

We recently lost a longtime member of the MRS Homecare Family, David Creamer, our IT professional for over 20 years. To honor David's memory, our team came together to raise supplies and funds for the Albany Humane Society. David was an avid animal lover who was always willing to support this great cause.
The MRS crew sponsored 3 pet adoptions and donated over 1110 lbs of pet food, along with numerous boxes of treats, kitty litter, toys, and other supplies.
We will miss David, but we hope his legacy will live on in the families who adopt new four-legged family members from the Albany Humane Society for years to come.

MRS Homecare Joins Synapse Health Network to Continue Serving UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage Members

Effective August 1, 2026, MRS Homecare, Inc. is participating in the Synapse Health network, allowing the company to continue providing home medical equipment and services to eligible UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members whose benefits are administered through Synapse Health.

This new agreement strengthens MRS Homecare’s longstanding relationship with UnitedHealthcare and expands the company’s ability to serve UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members throughout Georgia.

“We are pleased to have reached an agreement that allows our patients to continue receiving care from the local provider they know and trust,” said Tyler Riddle, President and CEO of MRS Homecare. “Continuity of care is especially important for patients who rely on oxygen, CPAP therapy, mobility equipment, hospital beds, and other essential home medical equipment.”

The agreement will allow many existing MRS Homecare patients to remain with the company rather than transition to an unfamiliar or out-of-town provider. It will also give eligible patients who were previously assigned to a distant supplier an opportunity to receive care from a local Georgia company.

MRS Homecare has long advocated for patient choice and believes patients should be able to receive home medical equipment from qualified providers within their own communities whenever possible.

“For more than 46 years, our employees have worked to bring healthcare home to patients across Georgia,” Riddle said. “We are excited about this opportunity to retain the patients who have entrusted us with their care and to welcome new patients who want the service, accessibility, and personal attention of a local provider.”
