The CORE Foundation is deeply grateful to the Woman’s Club of Sanford for recognizing our charitable organization and supporting our mission.

Our Executive Director, Malerie, and CORE client Elena Brandner, whose journey reflects the impact of perseverance, expert care, and access to life-changing recovery opportunities, were honored to accept your generous $1,500 donation at today’s luncheon. This donation will help the CORE Foundation continue providing critical support and recovery services to individuals affected by paralysis throughout Central Florida.

This photo of Malerie with Karen Adam and Elena (two clients she first met in wheelchairs!) is a powerful reminder of what is possible with community support like yours. Thank you for believing in our mission and helping us continue to change lives. 💙

Ten years ago, CORE brought Rock Steady Boxing to Central Florida with one goal: to give people living with Parkinson’s a place to fight back with strength, purpose, and community.

What we could never have imagined then were the countless victories we would witness along the way. The first time someone regained confidence walking into class alone. The hugs and fist bumps after hard workouts. The friendships formed between people who truly understand one another. The determination shown every single day by some of the toughest men and women we have ever known.

For the last decade, it has been our honor to stand beside individuals and families navigating every stage of Parkinson’s. Together, we have celebrated milestones, pushed through challenges, and proven time and again that Parkinson’s may change a life, but it does not define it.

To every fighter who has wrapped their hands, stepped into the gym, and refused to give up, THANK YOU for trusting us to be part of your journey. You are the heart of this program and the reason we continue this mission.

Here’s to ten years of fighting back together… and to many more ahead. 🥊💙💛🥊
