HEAT CLOSURE NOTICE

Due to the extreme heat and high temperatures expected, IMPACT CIL will be closed to the public on Monday, August 31, and Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Our staff will work remotely on these two days and remain available to assist consumers.
Please stay safe, stay cool, drink plenty of water, and avoid prolonged exposure to the heat.

Today, on Women's Equality Day, we celebrate the women who have fought for progress, equality, independence, and inclusion.

We honor women in every role—caregivers, nurses, aides, social workers, advocates, leaders, family members, and friends. We also recognize women with disabilities, whose leadership, advocacy, experiences, and determination continue to break barriers and strengthen our communities.

Much of the work that supports older adults, people with disabilities, and families is carried by women—often quietly and without enough recognition.

Today, we say thank you to the women on our team and throughout our community who advocate, care, lead, inspire, and help make independence possible.

In Sympathy of Kerry Lowry

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Kerry Lowry of PACE CIL. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, CILs, Statewide Deaf Services Coordinators and the Deaf community during this difficult time.

Kerry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Extreme Heat Notice

With the extreme heat warning in effect until 8 PM Wednesday, IMPACT CIL will be closed to the public on Tuesday and Wednesday. Staff will be working remotely during this time.

We will resume regular office hours on Thursday. Stay safe and keep cool!

IMPACT CIL’s Trivia Night fundraiser was a great success!
