“They’ll just grow out of it.”

Little ones grow out of clothes, shoes and haircuts… but they don’t always grow out of symptoms or patterns. 🤍

How many times have you heard:

“They’ll grow out of the colic.”
“They’ll grow out of the reflux.”
“They’ll grow out of the constipation.”
“They’ll grow out of always turning their head one way.”
“They’ll grow out of toe walking.”
“They’re just clumsy.”
“They’ll grow out of their poor posture.”
“They’ll grow out of the mouth breathing.”
“They’re just a restless kid.”

And here’s the thing…

Sometimes the symptom goes away, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the problem did.

The body is really good at adapting. A child may stop showing one symptom, but start compensating somewhere else.

Maybe the reflux gets better, but now they struggle with digestion.
Maybe they stop toe walking, but their movement patterns are still off.
Maybe they stop favoring one side, but develop another compensation.
Maybe they sleep better, but you’re still seeing issues with regulation, attention or sensory processing.

Our bodies are connected. What we see on the surface isn’t always the whole story.

That’s why I love seeing little ones early. Not because I think every kid has something “wrong” with them — but because I’d rather look, understand what’s going on and support their growing body than just hope they grow out of it.

Because sometimes they don’t grow out of it…

They grow into something else. 🫶🏼

A flat spot is not just about the shape of the head… it’s about the movement patterns behind it. 🤍

This is something I see often in my office, and I’ve had the privilege of supporting many babies through gentle craniosacral work and pediatric chiropractic care.

Many parents are surprised to learn the focus isn’t only on the head shape — it’s about helping babies find more comfort, mobility, and balanced movement.

With additional education and training in craniosacral techniques and pediatric chiropractic care, I’m passionate about supporting the unique needs of infants as they grow and develop.

I’ve received wonderful feedback from parents, pediatricians, and pediatric therapists who have noticed positive changes in their little ones through improved mobility and movement.

Every baby’s journey is different, but early support can make a meaningful difference. 🤍

Happy 11th birthday to the real boss around here, Milo 🥹🫶🏻🐾

It’s hard to believe he’s 11 because he still acts like a puppy! It’s pretty obvious he’s been training his whole life for this job. 😂 From greeting everyone at the door and soaking up all the kids’ pets to happily accepting the occasional “sneaky” treat, he was made for this.

His job is simple: make everyone feel welcome, collect as many pets as possible, make sure no snack goes unnoticed, and remind us to slow down with plenty of naps and a wagging tail. He takes his role very seriously, and somehow still manages to smile through it all.

The office wouldn’t be the same without you. Happy 11th birthday to the happiest office dog around. 🤍🐶

Respectfully, I’ll let the results speak for themselves. 🤍

This month alone, I’ve had the honor of witnessing some pretty incredible moments in my office:

✨ A mama who had a successful VBAC after preparing her body and working through her pregnancy journey.

✨ A baby who was able to avoid helmet therapy after we focused on cranial work and consistent care early on.

✨ A 20-year-old who had struggled with chronic migraines since she was 13 shared that, for the first time in 7 years, she went an entire month without needing her migraine medication.

✨ A newborn who was struggling with gas, discomfort, and digestion finally had a more peaceful night of sleep after an adjustment.

✨ A toddler who came in with big emotions and frequent tantrums has made incredible progress over the last 6 weeks with consistent care, nervous system support, and learning tools like box breathing. Now he’s teaching his older siblings how to use it too. 🤍

Every person, every body, and every journey is different — but getting to walk alongside families as they work toward feeling their best is why I love what I do.

People can have their opinions… I’ll keep showing up for my patients. ✨
