It's been a busy week for our team!

Our intern Lauren is pictured here, helping spread the word about our upcoming Maternal Health Class by posting flyers throughout our community. πŸΌπŸ§‘β€πŸΌ

Also pictured are members of our team who met yesterday with Newbury Health Director, and intern Sira to discuss the MHOA Local Public Health Pathway to Public Health Program and explore opportunities to continue to strengthen public health initiatives in our region and introduce incoming professionals to the world of public health. 🌎 πŸ₯

We're grateful for the partnerships, outreach efforts, and collaborative conversations that help us connect with and serve our community. Stay tuned for more updates on our upcoming programs and events! βœ¨πŸ’™

Great collaboration in Newburyport this morning! 🀝 Our Regional Nurse, Pam, and Public Health Intern, Lauren D’Arco, had a fantastic meeting with Health Director Kelechi Obika and Animal Control Officer Kayla Provencher. We are so excited about the future, especially the new maternal, child, and family health services we will be rolling out in the coming months. A huge thank you to the Newburyport Health Department for hosting Lauren, our first-ever summer public health intern! 🌟

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our A1C Screening event! 🩸🩺

We had a fantastic turnout at the Amesbury Senior Community Center for our recent A1C Screening. Taking the time to monitor your blood sugar levels is such an important step in managing your health, and we are thrilled to see so many of our community members taking charge of their wellness!

A special shout-out of gratitude to our regional health nurse, Pamela Palombo, for providing these essential health checks and making the process so quick and easy.
