Thank you to Crystal Kaakeeyáa Worl, a Deg Hit’an Athabascan artist originally from Fairbanks, for designing the sweaters for our new partnership with Uaa Seawolves! 🤝 On Wednesday, nearly 100 Alaska Native youth sported these sweaters in a basketball camp made possible through this partnership between ANTHC and UAA, with the help of AFN! 🏀 Thank you, Crystal, for your role in amplifying Indigenous artwork, and to our participants for joining us in moving our bodies in this fun and healthy event 💪

🏀Nearly 100 Alaska Native youth participated in a new basketball camp on Wednesday, made possible through a partnership between ANTHC, UAA, and AFN!

💪 They had the opportunity to learn and practice fundamental basketball skills alongside UAA coaches and student-athletes, and participated in drills and friendly competitions 🏃‍♂️ Thank you to all who participated in this fun and healthy event!

Tomorrow is the last day to register for our 🌹 Garden of Roses, a free camp in Fairbanks for Alaska Native girls ages 10-17 who are survivors of sexual assault. 🌹

This is an opportunity for young girls to heal from the trauma they have experienced. Girls are accompanied by an adult parent or guardian.

A limited number of travel scholarships are available. The registration deadline is tomorrow, Friday, October 23, 2026.
