Michael Jordan just helped open another clinic in North Carolina and it has nothing to do with basketball.

The Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinics were built so people can see a doctor even without insurance or the money for regular care. The newest site in Wilmington made it four clinics across the state.

They offer primary care in underserved communities and take patients no matter their insurance status or ability to pay.

Jordan put $7 million toward two Charlotte clinics, then $10 million more to expand the program in Wilmington.

Hall of Fame player. Billionaire. And now helping more families get basic healthcare.

That is a different kind of legacy.
