Douglas MacArthur has a golden heart for hospice!

🐕 This spring, Douglas completed his 500th therapy dog visit with his handler, Greg Edgin, serving as a quiet companion to those needing comfort.

What began as very personal, with Douglas visiting Greg’s wife while she was a patient at Munson Hospice House, turned into a lasting commitment to volunteerism with Arbor Hospice. 💜

On this Memorial Day, we are reminded of one veteran's story of service, loss, and their deep lasting bond to their sibling.

Veteran pinning ceremonies are an act of recognition and humble appreciation for what our service members have done for us and our country.

It reminds us of our commitment to our mission, to serve Every Person. Every Time.

✨This month, we celebrate and thank the incredible Registered Nurses of Arbor Hospice. We had the opportunity to honor and recognize our RNs in leadership roles last week at our annual NorthStar Care Community Leadership Institute. ✨

Every day, our RNs provide compassionate care, comfort, and support to patients and families during some of life’s most tender and vulnerable moments. Through your expertise, kindness, and steady presence, you help bring peace, dignity, and reassurance when it matters most.

Thank you for the countless ways you care for others with empathy and heart. 💜

We are deeply grateful for all you do, Every Person. Every Time.

This beautiful Life’s Big Moments story was brought to us by Arbor Hospice music therapist Leika, who recognized the powerful legacy and connection unfolding through the care being given today.

"The Roots of Two Oak Trees" shares how compassion planted decades ago continues to live on through hospice care, family, and love.
