This is a new low in ethnic cleansing policies perpetratred by the Turkish army against poor Syrian farmers.
Most Turkish Olive Oil is marketed under fraudulently "Italian-sounding" names like Litalian, Pallermo, Vitalian, etc. to begin with.
Always check for their tiny "Made in Turkey" or "Turkiye" sign hidden in the back oif the bottle.
In this case, though, it is not simply fraud, but the expropriated labor of poor Kurdish and Arab farmers of Turkish-occupied Idlib and Afrin provinces of northern Syria who are being economically destroyed so as to be driven out of their farms and ethnically cleansed by the Turkish army which has invaded their land.

Representatives from Turkey’s Agricultural Credit Cooperatives (TKK) have visited the United States to market some 90,000 tonnes of olive oil produced in northern Syria’s Afrin province, Iraqi Kurdish news outlet Rudaw reported on Thursday.
