The Carolina On My Mind burger has officially earned a spot in my mind as one of the best burgers I’ve had in the Triangle. 🍔🔥 Juicy, packed with flavor, and paired with crispy sweet potato waffle fries and one of Carolina Brewery’s house-made Bloody Marys (only $5!!!!) 😍 it was the perfect brunch.

Sometimes self-care isn’t about a spa day, it’s stepping away from the hustle, enjoying incredible local food, and taking time to simply savor the moment. ❤️

Of course, I couldn’t pass up a beer flight! 🍻 I sampled four of Carolina Brewery’s signature brews:

🍺 Sky Blue Kölsch: Light, crisp, and refreshing with a clean finish.
🍺 Costero Mexican Lager: Smooth and easy-drinking with a hint of citrus that’s perfect for summer.
🍺 Copperline Amber Ale: Rich caramel malt flavors with a balanced, slightly sweet finish.
🍺 Fin Chaser Pale Ale: Bright citrus and tropical hop notes with just the right amount of bite.

Less than 24 hours in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina Here’s how we’d do it again. 🌊☁️

We checked into Trailborn Surf & Sound and spent the next day soaking up everything that makes Wrightsville Beach so special. Even though the weather didn’t fully cooperate, we were reminded that a cloudy beach day is still better than anywhere else.

Our itinerary:

🏖️ And of course, a peaceful stroll along Wrightsville Beach even beneath gray skies.

Sometimes the best trips aren’t about perfect weather. They’re about slowing down, discovering local gems, and letting the sound of the waves remind you to appreciate the moment. The beach will always be my favorite place to be. 🤍

🚲 The ultimate Highway 12 cruise 🌊

One of my favorite ways to explore Hatteras Island?

Renting bikes from Island Cycles in Avon and taking a ride down iconic Highway 12.

There’s just something about the salty air and slowing down enough to take it all in.

When staying Shells Sunset Cove it’s the perfect adventure 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚴 whether you’re heading to grab a bite, browse local shops, or simply enjoy the beauty of the island at your own pace.
