POV: The last days of August look a little different when you’re dropping your daughter off to live in Spain. 🇪🇸🥹✈️

Pamplona, you were the perfect ending to summer. ❤️

I got to travel with my daughter, help her settle into her apartment for her fall semester abroad, and spend a few unforgettable days exploring this beautiful city together.

Walking the streets, eating ALL the food, drinking ALL the wine 🍷😂, soaking up the Spanish sunshine, and making memories before it was time for me to head home and her adventure to officially begin.

One chapter ending. A BIG new one beginning. ✨

Here’s to raising kids who aren’t afraid to explore the world 🌎 and to the moms who will happily travel with them…and drink the wine. 😉🍷🇪🇸

Soaking in these last few days of summer the best way I know how: slowing down, chasing sunsets, feeling the salt air and remembering that we don’t always have to rush into the next season. 🌊☀️

🍻 Okay Apex… this is one of those local spots you’ll want to know about!

I recently stopped into Peakway Taps and between the huge craft beer selection and the amazing service, I can see why this place has become such a local favorite. 💚 The staff was so welcoming, helpful and genuinely made the whole experience even better, which always stands out to me when I’m supporting a local business.

And of course, I had to try one of the most unexpected beers on the board…Dubai Chocolate from Forgotten Road Ales. 🍫🍺 A 13% ABV Imperial/Double Pastry Stout because if I see Dubai Chocolate beer, you know I’m trying it. 😂
