Since 2004 McCoy Jones has been offering solutions to individuals, families and business in the Kiski Valley and surrounding areas. Originally founded in June 10, 2002 as Versarias Insurance and Safety Associates and our company name change to McCoy Jones Insurance (MJI) in June 10, 2016 when we opened our office in Apollo, PA for client convenience and to help better serve our large client base. We are an Independent agency that provides multiple carriers and products to fit your needs. We Save our client's thousands of dollars per year while providing them with the best benefits to fit our client's needs.

On to the "good stuff"

Notice of Termination vs names in your Medicare.gov book.

Plans are going out ( meaning terminated) but keeping the same name coming back in.

Some counties have lost a supplemental providers completely yet you see it in the Medicare.gov book... what?

If your plan is being terminated and you were sent literature that has .. let's say 2 plans listed.. those are it!

Call the office as you have been doing.. 😊

Service areas have changed drastically.. pay attention.

Service copays .. pay attention.

ALL CARRIERS have made changes across the board.

It's gonna be a long AEP.. but we are ready!

I know a Sunday post! We've been abnormally quite and do a lot of cross posting from our sister side of the business Apollo Tag and Title

Ok Steeler Nation...why you're scrolling during the game... every once in a while I gotta come on here a redirect someone's incorrect narrative about us/me.

No.. not retiring, not closing down and not moving.

Like most of you in our age group I too am dealing with an aging parent and the health issue associated with whatever is happening..and sometimes it's unavoidable if I'm not in the office.

Susie is still making appointments and she is command central in addition to being fabulous as always. She has the ability to slide me notes and get some answers for you faster than I can if you call in and I'm not available. This month is a lot if meeting and testing.

Last but not least and most importantly

This is that time of year where we have to go radio silent to comply with the rules. .. all I can say is buckle up. Read your Annual Notice of Change and read what your carrier is sending you. You're gonna be getting a ton of calls that may or may not be in your best interest. PAY ATTENTION.

Monday through Thursday: Normal 9- 5

Friday September 4th: Closed

Monday September 7th: Closed
