We are excited to welcome Dr. Elizabeth Burns to Clearview Dermatology!

Dr. Burns is a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience caring for patients of all ages. Dr. Burns graduated summa cm laude from Emory College with a double major in Biology and German Studies. She completed medical school and her dermatology residency at Emory University School of Medicine.

Following her training, she joined a small private dermatology practice in Atlanta, where she helped lead and grow the practice for over 20 years. After practicing dermatology in Atlanta for many years, she was excited to relocate to Colorado and join Clearview Dermatology.

Having experienced severe eczema as a child, Dr. Burns brings a personal understanding of skin disease to her work. This experience shapes her compassionate approach and commitment to patient-centered care. She specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancer, as well as chronic skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis.

In addition to medical dermatology, Dr. Burns has extensive experience in cosmetic dermatology, including Botox®, dermal fillers, and Sculptra®. She enjoys helping both men and women look and feel their best, focusing on subtle, natural-looking results.

Skin cancers can have extensive spread beyond what meets the naked eye. This is why having your skin cancer treated with Mohs Surgery, which checks 100% of the tumor margins is so important. This patient had a large skin cancer on the upper lip which was cleared after 3 stages of Mohs surgery and repaired by Dr. Overman on the same day.
