Grounded in ancient tradition but relevant to the 21st century, Daoist Traditions is committed to preparing the next generation of highly qualified Chinese medicine practitioners. Founded in August 2003 and inspired by the teachings of Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th-generation priest from the Jade Purity School of Daoism, DTC has evolved into a vibrant and dynamic institute for learning. Congratulations to our newest graduates! 🎓

We are so proud of this group. They worked incredibly hard to get here, and they’ve more than earned this celebration. We can’t wait to see where they take it from here.

And this was our 20th graduating class! We couldn’t have asked for a better group to hit that mark.

A big thank you to Barry Thorne and staff for the generous gift bags, and for all they do to support DT. And a huge shout out to our hardworking staff for making the magic happen :) We couldn’t do this without you.

Qi gong is a system of postures, movement, breathwork, sound, and meditation that lets you connect to, feel, and eventually affect the flow of qi in the body.

It’s often described as a stress reliever and an energy booster: quick, doable, and easy to fold into daily life.

At Daoist Traditions, our students practice it together.
It’s where learning to sense energy in yourself becomes the foundation for moving it in others.

Attention busy acupuncturists… your doctoral path is here!

Daoist Traditions now offers TWO professional tracks to advance your practice:

Doctor of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine (DAHM)
Applicants must have completed an ACAHM-accredited master’s program in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.

Doctor of Acupuncture (DAc)
Applicants must have completed an ACAHM-accredited master’s program in Acupuncture (herbal training not required).


Entry requirements for both programs:
• 90 semester credits of bachelor’s-level education
• Prerequisites in biology, chemistry, and psychology
