This annual event is always a great way to do a quick check-in on your health and guide you on a path to healthier you! Stop by and see us!

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month and at PrimaryPlus-OB/GYN you may notice our teal ribbons outside the entrance of the women's health office. Unlike many other cancers, there is currently no routine screening test for ovarian cancer—Pap smears do NOT detect it. That’s why recognizing the signs early is vital.

While there is no routine screening, we are proud to participate with the University of Kentucky research based Ovarian Cancer Screen Program at our Maysville location. Watch out for the most common symptoms if they persist for more than a few weeks:
▪️ Bloating that is persistent
▪️ Eating difficulty or feeling full quickly

Remember the acronym B.E.A.T. If you or someone you love experiences these symptoms frequently, speak with a doctor. Early detection saves lives. 💡
