It’s with a heavy heart we share the news that Katie Patrick passed away this weekend. Katie taught yoga with EssentialZen since our opening in 2015. At one point, she had three classes on the schedule! She “retired” from teaching to take care of her parents and grandkids, but continued to be a substitute instructor for our wellness classes until the end of 2025. For those who knew and loved Katie, she’ll live on in our hearts.

Let’s honor her memory by telling a loved one how much they mean to us, and spreading kindness.
