1) Under-dosing: Full longevity typically requires around 20 units per area in the upper face. Lower doses look great but wear off much faster.

2) Receiving fewer units than expected: Under-dosing by a provider happens, which is why transparency about your exact unit count is so important.

3) Formulating a resistance: Your body can develop an immune response to a brand's proteins over time. Switching to a different neurotoxin usually solves this!

4) Rapid nerve regeneration: Botox temporarily blocks muscle signals. If your body naturally repairs those cellular pathways faster than average, your results fade quicker.
