Kacie asked Michael, our patient concierge, what she actually uses. She has sensitive skin, runs outside daily, and her skin still glows.

Michael is the first face you see when you walk into Restora, and her routine is worth knowing. It's Pavise across the board: the Daily Defense SPF, the Bio-Adaptive Stress Repair Serum, the cleanser, and the eye cream. She's been consistent with the line for about a year.

"I have very sensitive skin. I really like that it doesn't give me a rash, doesn't make me dry or itchy. The cleanser gets everything off without irritating my skin."

Running outside means real sun exposure, and the BSR has made a visible difference on pigmentation.

"I've noticed it does lighten some dark spots I get on my cheeks."

For daily SPF and coverage, she recently switched to ColorScience tinted sunscreen.

Here's Kacie on why that matters:
"A lot of people think they can use makeup with SPF in it, but that's a very watered-down version of sunscreen. ColorScience is sunscreen that also happens to be makeup. The foundation of it is protection. You can tell because you have no sun damage."

Once a week, a prescription retinoid keeps cellular turnover consistent.

It's a simple, sensitive-skin friendly routine that's clearly doing its job.

All Pavise and ColorScience products are available at Restora.

When your skin is stressed, sensitized, or depleted, more product isn't the answer.

Your skin barrier regulates moisture, defends against environmental stress, and keeps inflammation in check. When it's compromised, hydration escapes, sensitivity increases, and the skin can't regulate itself the way it's designed to. Layering more actives on top makes it worse. The barrier needs support first.

Amber's barrier repair facial works with the skin's own repair process — squalane oil for weightless nourishment, calendula salve to calm and support, intentional lymphatic massage to reduce inflammation and support circulation, a soothing CBD jelly mask for deep hydration, and cold gloves to finish and de-puff.

The lymphatic component is what often makes the difference — moving stagnant fluid, reducing inflammation, and creating the conditions the skin needs to genuinely reset.

Most clients notice a visible shift in how their skin feels and responds after one session.

If your skin has been feeling stressed or sensitized, this is where we start.

Choosing between Sculptra, Radiesse, and HA filler is one of the most common questions Audrey and Kacie field in consultations. The answer is always patient-specific — but here's how they think through it.

Sculptra vs. Radiesse
Sculptra's mechanism relies on immune function, which naturally declines over time. It tends to perform best in patients 60 and under. Radiesse works through a different pathway and holds up well in older patients, and it's the preferred biostimulator for body treatments.

"My go-to for body treatments is Radiesse. I just like that it stimulates two types of collagen and elastin."

Radiesse also has an HA gel carrier, so there's some visible volumization while the biostimulatory response develops. With Sculptra, the sterile water absorbs within 24–48 hours — everything you see later is your own collagen.

If you want a little more fullness while your body starts to kick in — Radiesse makes more sense. Immediate gratification.

When HA filler wins
Both biostimulators stimulate collagen. Neither addresses significant fat loss directly. When meaningful volume is missing, HA filler restores it at that specific layer — it's a different tool for a different problem.

All three are excellent. The right choice depends on which layer is affected, what's driving the concern, and what the patient's goals actually are. That's what a consultation with Kacie or Audrey is for.

Amber’s top-selling products last year at Restore Skin & Laser honestly surprised people, but once she explained why, it made complete sense.

Her number one was the Colorescience Flex SPF.

“It’s a mix between a foundation and an SPF. It’s creamy, hydrating, mineral-based, and has antioxidants built in. It comes in different tones and goes on beautifully. I like to wear something that covers my skin and makes it look flawless — this does both.”

And her second top seller? The Pavise Bio-Adaptive Stress Repair Serum.

“I love it because it has so many great ingredients working together — alpha arbutin, which is a plant-based alternative to hydroquinone, niacinamide for pigmentation, hydration, and oil balancing, and antioxidant support for oxidative stress. It’s a great product if you want to repair your skin overnight.”

Daily protection. Overnight repair. Two products Amber consistently recommends because she genuinely loves them herself.

Kacie said something in this video that a lot of women in their 40s needed to hear.
"My first symptom was my hair falling out. That's since stopped, and it's now growing back in."

Restora's clientele is 95% women. And at some point, the team recognized that what was happening to their patients outside the treatment room was just as important as what was happening in it.

Hormones affect everything. Sleep. Energy. Hair. Skin. Mood. And for women moving through perimenopause and menopause, the changes can be subtle at first and easy to dismiss, hard to connect.

That's why Restora now offers women's hormone wellness through Leslie, their nurse practitioner. Kacie saw her herself.
"Just that feeling tired, not getting sleep — starting on the appropriate hormones to get better sleep, better energy. It's been amazing."

Leslie brings a PhD-level depth of knowledge to hormonal health and approaches each patient individually. Whether it's hair loss, disrupted sleep, fatigue, or something harder to name — the conversation starts with understanding what's actually driving it.

"I'm 48. That's just the range we're all going through."
If you've been quietly managing symptoms and assuming it's just part of getting older — it doesn't have to be.

Most people know fillers for the face. Fewer know what they can do for the body.
Hyperdiluted Radiesse can be used to address areas where skin quality, laxity, and texture have changed over time — the neck, chest, arms, and above the knees among them.

Areas that rarely get attention, but show age just as clearly as the face does.
What makes Radiesse different from a standard filler is what it does after it's placed.

Rather than simply adding volume, it acts as a biostimulator — the calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres may stimulate both Type I and Type III collagen as well as elastin production over time. The result is gradual improvement in skin quality, firmness, and texture — driven by your own biology, not a synthetic fill.

It's administered via cannula in a hyperdiluted formula, which allows even distribution across larger surface areas. Results develop over weeks to months as your skin responds.
If you've been focused on your face but quietly noticing changes elsewhere — this is worth knowing about.

Kacie pulled the numbers. Jenny's top-selling product last year wasn't a serum or a treatment — it was a cleanser.

The Alastin Skincare Cleanser has been Jenny's go-to for years, and her clients know it.

"It's gentle. It takes off the dirt, grime, and oils — but it doesn't dehydrate the skin. I can use it immediately post-procedure. It's just a well-balanced cleanser I've fallen in love with over the years."

Her number two? SkinBetter Tone Smart SPF.
And if you know Jenny's patient base, it makes complete sense.

Tone Smart is a mineral-based sunscreen with up to 80 minutes of protection before reapplication — compared to 40 minutes for most physical block sunscreens on the market. For Jenny's laser patients and anyone managing melasma, that matters.

"Heat activates melanocytes. Tone Smart actually decreases heat in the skin tissue — which is why it's so important for my melasma patients."
It also has just enough tint to mesh with nearly any skin tone, leaving a natural dewy finish. Sunscreen that people actually want to wear.

Both products are available at Restora.
Call or text (512) 371-8817 to ask about adding them to your routine.
