🏈 Learning Social Skills Beyond the Therapy Room! 🏈

Sometimes the best place to practice social skills isn’t at a table. It’s out in the community doing something our clients enjoy or wanted to try. 💙

Recently, we had the opportunity to support a client during football practice while working on meaningful social skills in a natural environment. From interacting with teammates and coaches to practicing communication, following group directions, taking turns, and navigating the excitement of being part of a team, every moment became an opportunity to learn and grow.

At Uniquely You Pediatric ABA Therapy, we believe therapy should fit into a child’s life, not the other way around. When we can incorporate a child’s interests and activities into therapy, learning becomes more meaningful, motivating, and fun! ⭐

Because sometimes progress looks like a therapy session.

And sometimes it looks like putting on a helmet and joining the team. 🏈💙
