We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Walmart and grateful for their support of our mission - to create a homeownership housing model for adults with I/DD. Hello NYS Friends - In 2022, we helped write a bill to help families and advocates create housing for their adult loved ones with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The bill passed unanimously in the Assembly but stalled in the Senate.

We are excited that the bill is now back! We are coordinating with state-wide coalitions and have bipartisan co-sponsors to help passage.

If you want to help, please contact your Assemblymember and State Senator by phone or email and ask them to co-sponsor and vote for Innovative Housing Bill A9194 (Assembly) or S4098 (Senate).
