PREPARED FAMILIES ARE RESILIENT FAMILIES.
Emergencies don’t make appointments. Hurricanes, severe weather, power outages, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events can happen at any time.
This National Preparedness Month, make preparedness a family responsibility.
Talk with your children. Build an emergency plan. Know where you’ll meet. Have backup communication. Stock food, water, medications, flashlights, batteries, and first-aid supplies. Learn basic first aid and bleeding control—and make sure everyone knows what to do when something goes wrong.
Preparedness isn’t about living in fear.
It’s about giving your family the knowledge, equipment, and confidence to act when help may be minutes—or hours—away.
Protect your family. Train your family. Prepare your family.
BE YOUR OWN FIRST RESPONDER.
