PREPARED FAMILIES ARE RESILIENT FAMILIES.

Emergencies don’t make appointments. Hurricanes, severe weather, power outages, medical emergencies, and other unexpected events can happen at any time.

This National Preparedness Month, make preparedness a family responsibility.

Talk with your children. Build an emergency plan. Know where you’ll meet. Have backup communication. Stock food, water, medications, flashlights, batteries, and first-aid supplies. Learn basic first aid and bleeding control—and make sure everyone knows what to do when something goes wrong.

Preparedness isn’t about living in fear.
It’s about giving your family the knowledge, equipment, and confidence to act when help may be minutes—or hours—away.

Protect your family. Train your family. Prepare your family.

BE YOUR OWN FIRST RESPONDER.

🌀 HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS STARTS BEFORE THE STORM

Don’t wait until the forecast cone is pointed at your community to start preparing.

Have a plan. Build your emergency supplies. Stock water, food, medications, first-aid supplies, lighting, batteries and backup power. Know your evacuation route, keep your vehicle fueled, protect important documents, and make sure every member of your family knows the plan—including your pets.

Preparedness isn’t panic—it’s planning.

When the storm arrives, the time to prepare has already passed.

Be Ready. Be Capable. Be Your Own First Responder.

FORCED RESET TRIGGERS (FRTs)

FRTs are specialized fi***rm trigger systems designed to mechanically assist the trigger’s reset after each shot, allowing the shooter to fire again with another deliberate trigger press.

They’ve generated plenty of interest—and plenty of legal controversy. Know your equipment, understand how it functions, train responsibly, and stay current on federal, state, and local law.

Knowledge. Training. Responsibility.

Louisiana Gun Laws: Know Your Rights. Know Your Responsibilities.
Louisiana has strong protections for lawful fi***rm ownership and carry, including permitless concealed carry for eligible individuals. However, those rights come with important responsibilities and restrictions regarding who may possess fi***rms, where fi***rms may be carried, use of deadly force, prohibited locations, and interactions with law enforcement.
In this video, we break down Louisiana fi***rm laws in practical terms so responsible gun owners can better understand the law and make informed decisions.
Education. Responsibility. Safety. Know the law before you carry.

We were just discussing EDC (EveryDayCarry) and the carry positions on all my platforms. I had a friend respond with " croosbody" carry comment, he took some heat in the comments. I feel this article articulates well the place for crossbody.

Most people choose appendix carry, but some still prefer to carry strong side. Very few people, though, still choose crossdraw carry. It's an old style but in no way obsolete.
We're breaking down the art of crossdraw carrying and how it can be applied today: https://athlonoutdoors.com/article/crossdraw/
