When you were little...

Your dad carried you on his shoulders.

He held your hand crossing the street.

He showed up to your games.

He helped with homework.

He taught you how to ride a bike.

How to throw a ball.

How to keep going when things got tough.

For years...

He was the strong one.

The one you counted on.

The one who was always there.

Then something happens.

Life moves fast.

You get older.

He gets older.

And one day you notice he's moving a little slower.

His back bothers him.

His joints ache.

He doesn't swing the golf club quite like he used to.

He hesitates before getting down on the floor with the grandkids.

Not because he wants to.

Because his body isn't cooperating.

That's when the roles begin to change.

And maybe...

Just maybe...

It's your turn to help him.

This Father's Day, don't give Dad another tie.

Don't give him another coffee mug.

Give him something that matters.

Give him the opportunity to feel stronger.

To move better.

To regain confidence in his body.

To enjoy life with less stiffness and more freedom.

Earlier today, one of our members told us something incredible.

His lower back tightness had improved dramatically.

His golf swing had more rotation.

More distance.

More freedom of movement.

He simply felt more like himself again.

And isn't that what every dad wants?

Not to be younger.

Just to feel capable again.

To play with the grandkids.

To travel.

To golf.

To garden.

To live life without constantly thinking about aches and pains.

At OsteoStrong Baton Rouge, we'll sit down with your dad, learn his goals, and help create a path toward achieving them.

Because the goal isn't stronger bones.

The goal is giving Dad more life in his years.

This Father's Day...

Bring your dad in.

Let's help him stay strong for the people he loves most.

The best leaders don't just teach you what to do.

They teach you how to treat people.

When I first started working at OsteoStrong, I was fortunate to have an incredible manager named Gina.

She was patient.

Really patient.

Because when you're new, there's a lot to learn.

The systems.

The procedures.

The process.

The technology.

The member experience.

At times, it felt like drinking from a fire hose.

But Gina never made me feel rushed.

She never made me feel like I should already know everything.

Instead, she guided me.

She taught me.

She encouraged me.

And most importantly...

She gave me the space to learn.

At the time, I thought she was simply helping me become better at my job.

Looking back, she was teaching me something much bigger.

She was teaching me how to lead.

Today, I own my own OsteoStrong center.

And I find myself thinking about Gina often.

Because every time a new employee joins our team...

Every time a member walks through our doors feeling nervous...

Every time someone needs a little extra patience...

I remember how she treated me.

And I try to do the same.

That's why creating the right team matters so much.

Not just knowledgeable people.

Not just talented people.

Patient people.

Compassionate people.

People who understand that everyone starts somewhere.

Because whether you're learning a new job...

Starting a new health journey...

Or working toward a goal that's important to you...

The right guide can change everything.

Success isn't just about having a destination.

It's about having people who believe in you while you're finding your way.

Gina did that for me.

And now it's my responsibility to do that for others.

The goal isn't stronger bones.

The goal is helping people become stronger than they ever thought possible.

Who is someone that believed in you before you believed in yourself?

Nobody tells you that one of the hardest parts of being a parent...

Is finding time for yourself without feeling guilty.

As a mom of two young kids, my days are busy.

Really busy.

School.

Activities.

Meals.

Laundry.

Schedules.

Life.

And like a lot of parents, I used to think getting stronger meant spending hours in the gym.

Hours I simply didn't have.

That's why I love what we do here at OsteoStrong.

Not because it takes over my schedule.

Because it doesn't.

We have an amazing resistance band workout program that's quick, efficient, and designed for real people with real lives.

I can come in.

Build my strength.

Get what I need.

And get back to the people who matter most.

My kids.

Because let's be honest.

The goal isn't spending more time working out.

The goal is having the strength and energy to fully enjoy your life.

To run.

To play.

To chase your kids through the backyard.

To get down on the floor and jump right back up again.

To say "yes" when they ask you to play.

Too many people think strength is about looking better.

I've learned it's about living better.

It's about having the energy to keep up with the people you love.

It's about building a body that supports the life you want.

Not a workout schedule that takes over your life.

As parents, we spend so much time taking care of everyone else.

Sometimes the best thing we can do for our family is take care of ourselves.

Because strong parents raise strong families.

And those moments running, laughing, playing, and making memories?

Those are the moments that matter.

The goal isn't stronger bones.

The goal is having the strength to create more memories with the people you love.

If you're a parent, what's one activity with your kids that reminds you why staying strong matters?

In 2021, I looked in the mirror and realized something.

I wasn't where I wanted to be.

After having my kids, I still had a lot of baby weight.

And if I'm being honest...

I kept telling myself I'd deal with it later.

Later is a dangerous word.

Later turns into next month.

Next month turns into next year.

And before you know it, years have gone by.

So I made a decision.

Not a huge decision.

Not a dramatic decision.

Just a simple one.

I was ready to change.

That's when I started my Weight Watchers journey.

I began tracking what I was eating.

Paying attention to what my body actually needed.

And learning the difference between physical hunger and emotional eating.

What surprised me wasn't the weight loss.

It was what happened between my ears.

I realized something powerful.

It doesn't matter where you are today.

It doesn't matter how stuck you feel.

It doesn't matter how long you've been doing things the same way.

You are never as trapped as you think.

Because the moment you decide to take action...

A new path appears.

One decision becomes two.

Two become ten.

And eventually, those small decisions create a completely different life.

That's why I love helping people here at OsteoStrong.

Not because we're changing bones.

Not because we're changing bodies.

Because we're helping people believe change is possible.

Sometimes people walk through our doors wanting stronger bones.

Sometimes they want better balance.

Sometimes they want more strength.

But underneath all of that is something deeper.

Hope.

The hope that tomorrow can be better than today.

And it can.

Because change doesn't happen when you're ready.

Change happens when you decide.

The goal isn't stronger bones.

The goal is proving to yourself that you're capable of becoming stronger than you were yesterday.

What's one change you made that completely transformed your life?

I love Mimosa Handcrafted!!!

One of my favorite things about being a business owner in Baton Rouge...

Is supporting other women who are building something special.

Every small business has a story.

A dream.

A risk.

A person behind it who decided to bet on themselves.

That's why I love supporting Mimosa Handcrafted

I wear her pieces every single day.

Not because they're accessories.

Because they mean something.

Each piece has a Louisiana theme that reminds me where I came from.

My roots.

My family.

My community.

And every time someone compliments one of them, it starts a conversation.

About Baton Rouge.

About Louisiana.

About home.

What's interesting is that most people think they're buying jewelry.

But they're really buying a story.

They're supporting an artist.

A creator.

A woman-owned business.

A dream.

As a female business owner myself, I understand what goes into building something from the ground up.

The long days.

The uncertainty.

The faith it takes to keep going.

That's why I believe supporting local businesses matters.

Because when a local business succeeds, the entire community wins.

The money stays local.

The relationships stay local.

The impact stays local.

And that's how communities grow stronger.

One small purchase at a time.

So yes, I love my Mimosa pieces.

But what I love even more is what they represent.

A reminder of where I came from.

And the incredible women helping shape where Baton Rouge is going.

What's a local business you proudly support every chance you get?

Tag a local business you love.

Let's give some attention to the people building our communities one customer, one conversation, and one dream at a time. 💜🚀🏡

Most people think success comes from finding the perfect program.

It doesn't.

Success usually comes from not quitting.

Lachey taught me that.

She became a member at our Bone Density Center and did exactly what we asked her to do.

She showed up.

She put in the work.

She followed the program.

Then life happened.

Like it does for so many people.

She took a break.

A long one.

In fact, she stopped coming altogether.

Most people would assume that's the end of the story.

It usually is.

Because once people stop seeing immediate results, they convince themselves it isn't working.

They quit.

They move on.

They start looking for the next magic solution.

But Lachey was different.

During her time away, she realized something important.

She missed it.

Not because it was easy.

Not because it was convenient.

Because she saw the value.

She understood what she was building.

She wasn't chasing a quick fix.

She was investing in her future.

So she came back.

She recommitted.

She trusted the process.

And eventually, the numbers told the story.

Her DEXA scan showed an improvement in her bone density.

But here's the thing.

The scan wasn't the victory.

The decision to come back was.

The improved bone density was simply the receipt.

Too many people think success happens when they get the result.

The truth?

Success happened the moment she decided not to give up on herself.

That's why I love her story.

Not because her numbers improved.

Because she did.

The goal isn't stronger bones.

The goal is becoming the kind of person who keeps showing up for their future.

And that's exactly what Lachey did.

Have you ever walked away from something that was good for you...

Only to realize later that you needed to come back?

I grew up watching my dad build a business in Baton Rouge.

Back then, I never imagined I'd one day own a business here myself.

Life has a funny way of rewriting the script.

For years, I moved around the country with my husband's job.

Different cities.

Different opportunities.

Different chapters.

If you had told me back then that I'd eventually come back home, become a business owner, and serve the community where I was raised...

I probably wouldn't have believed you.

Yet here I am.

And I couldn't be happier.

What's even more incredible is where OsteoStrong Baton Rouge is located.

We're in the Perkins Rowe area, and inside our shopping center is something pretty special.

Seven.

Seven woman-owned businesses.

All in one place.

Think about that for a second.

Seven women.

Seven dreams.

Seven stories.

Seven business owners who took a chance on themselves.

Years ago, women often had to fight just to get a seat at the table.

Today, we're building our own tables.

Right here in Baton Rouge.

And while every business is different, we all have something in common.

We chose courage over comfort.

We chose possibility over certainty.

We chose to build something bigger than ourselves.

As I walk through the shopping center, I'm reminded that entrepreneurship isn't just about business.

It's about creating opportunities.

Building communities.

Serving people.

And leaving something better than we found it.

My dad built his dream in Baton Rouge.

Now I get the privilege of building mine.

And that feels pretty special.
