This weekend I got invited to a dinner and saw:

“ALL WHITE ATTIRE REQUIRED.” 😭😂

BABYYYYY…
being thicker + wearing white???
My anxiety immediately said:
“Stay home sis.” 😩

I started tearing MYSELF down:
“My stomach too big.”
“I’m getting old.”
“I don’t look good enough.”

I tried my dress on and instantly said:
“OH NO… I can’t go.” 😭

Then I grabbed my Faja…

39” waist ➡️ 33” instantly. 😳🔥

But honestly?

The biggest change wasn’t my waist…

It was feeling like ME again. 🤍

Some people spend their whole life building a life…and forget to actually LIVE it.

“I am people.”

That was me‼️

Always working ‼️
Always rushing 🏃‍♀️
Always answering calls 📞
Always thinking rest could wait….

These last few weeks changed something in me. 🤍

I learned how BEAUTIFUL life feels when you finally slow down enough to experience it.

• Going on a mini vaca & randomly deciding to stay extra days
• In ALLLL my 45 years… NEVER just had a picnic at a park
• Late night movies 🎥 with my family
• Cooking breakfast, lunch & dinner… ME 😩😂 because I NEVER cook.
• Fixing my mommy coffee in the mornings & tea at night.
• Laughing Daily & Having Family Popups
• Sitting on the back porch drinking coffee watching the doves 🕊️
• Instead Of (1) Day For Mothers Day - We Had A Whole Week….

And honestly…I don’t think I’ve lived this softly in years.

While I was away from social media and the noise…God still provided.

Business was Good Candy Girl still stayed booked through referrals, repeat clients & word of mouth alone.

That reminded me: EVERYTHING doesn’t fall apart when you finally take a breath.

I’m getting back to the REAL world now…but I’m coming back different‼️

Slower.
Softer.
More present.
More grateful. 🤍
