What an extraordinary conclusion to Gift of Lifeโs 2026 Menโs Health and Prostate Cancer Screening Initiative! ๐
Our final screening event in Beaumont saw a record-breaking 388 men receive free, comprehensive health screenings, bringing the total number of men served across Southeast Texas to nearly 1,000 this year.
Throughout our screenings in Lumberton, Port Arthur, Orange and Beaumont, hundreds of men took an important step toward protecting their health through prostate cancer screenings, blood pressure checks, cholesterol, blood glucose and A1C testing, with physician consultations.
This lifesaving initiative was made possible through the generosity and dedication of more than 350 incredible volunteers, compassionate physicians and healthcare professionals, generous sponsors, and valued community partners. Their service ensured that every participant was treated with dignity, kindness and exceptional attention.
Most importantly, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to every man who answered the call to โBe a Man. Get Checked.โ By making your health a priority, you are investing in your future and your family.
Although this yearโs screenings have concluded, Gift of Lifeโs mission continues. Our patient navigation team will assist participants, providing follow-up, referrals and connections to healthcare resources whenever additional evaluation or treatment is needed.
