🚲 Wheels up, helmets on!

☀️Summer is here, and the kids are ready to roll on bikes, scooters, skates, and skateboards. Let's be real: kids WILL fall. It is a normal part of learning! But we can keep those falls from turning into serious head injuries, broken bones, or deep cuts.

Here is your quick summer wheel safety checklist:
🪖 HELMET ALWAYS: No exceptions. Do not let them negotiate this one.
🚲 Age-Appropriate Rides: Use training wheels for ages 4 and under. Try removing them between ages 4 and 6, depending on your child's readiness.
🛡️ Pad Up: Use elbow and shin guards for beginners or adventurous kids doing tricks.
🩳 Watch the Wardrobe: Avoid wide pants that can catch in chains. Stick to shorts or secure loose fabric.
🛑 Traffic Talk: Teach kids to respect traffic signals and watch for cars, even when you are walking with them
