The rose has walked beside women for five thousand years.

She crowned Inanna in the temples of Sumer. She healed through the mysteries of Isis, she became the prayer of Mother Mary, and she bloomed red for Mary Magdalene.

She has been with me since I was a little girl in my family's Persian kitchen, where rose petals seasoned every meal.

I wrote The Rose Path as a pilgrim's guide to this lineage, with nine sacred stops from Sumer to Avalon and a simple practice for each one.

The full moon rises tonight, and She is the most beautiful reminder that you were made in cycles.

Every few days the Moon shows us a different face of Her light, and every few days we shift too. When I began to follow Her, I learned to rest when She darkened and to rise as She grew full, and my work, my body and my relationships found their rhythm.

Today we honor Mary Magdalene.
On her feast day, July 22nd, we pause to remember the woman who carried one of the most profound transmissions in human history.

She was trained in the sacred feminine mystery traditions of her time. A woman who had spent years in devoted preparation before the world witnessed what she carried.
Her greatest miracle was what she became through that preparation.
A heart so open that divine wisdom could move through it with extraordinary clarity.
A presence so devoted that others encountered sacred love simply by entering her field.
A living sanctuary tended through years of prayer, stillness, and devoted inner practice.

She became what every genuine initiation prepares a woman to become.
A vessel the divine could trust completely.
A presence that held what most hearts had not yet learned to carry.
This is her teaching for every woman who feels her call.
That the path of Magdalene begins in the quiet.
In the faithful return to prayer and stillness.
In the small and devoted acts of inner preparation that expand the heart's capacity over time.

Reiki is a multidimensional healing modality that not only helps you relax but also restores the energetic patterns that often sit beneath the struggles so many people live with every day.

If you feel anxious but can't explain why.

Reiki is a living intelligent current that moves through these centers, supporting the body's natural ability to restore balance.

Hathor predates almost every goddess tradition we know.
Her worship in Egypt reaches back over five thousand years. Before Isis became the great mother. Before Ra became the central solar deity. Hathor was already being honored as the original frequency of love itself.

She was the celestial cow who carried the sun between her horns each morning. Lifting it from the horizon and offering it to the world without hesitation. Without condition. This was her daily act of love. And the ancient Egyptians understood that love and the cosmos moved by the same intelligence.

Her seven aspects, the seven Hathors, were understood as the seven fates present at every birth. Each one carrying a thread of feminine wisdom related to love, destiny, and the soul's deepest purpose. She held the beginning of every life in her hands.

She was born from the fire in Ra's eye.
A goddess created to restore what had fallen out of sacred order. Carrying the full force of the sun in her lioness body.

Her name carries two meanings that lived together in ancient Egyptian understanding.
She Who is Powerful.
The One Who Loves Ma'at.
Her ferocity and her devotion to cosmic truth were the same force moving in two directions.

She was depicted as a lioness or a woman with the head of a lioness. Crowned with the solar disc and the uraeus serpent. Clothed in red linen the color of the midday sun. Her breath was understood as the force that created the desert. Her gaze burned through illusion.
She carried the ankh of eternal life in her hands.
Fierce power and sacred life held in the same body.

Her fire was purifying intelligence. As the Eye of Ra she was sent to restore Ma'at when humanity had wandered from truth and divine order. Her solar fire burned through what had fallen into corruption. Her healing restored what the fire revealed beneath.
Her priests served as physicians in her temples. Sacred healers who understood that medicine and ritual were the same practice. That illness lived in spiritual imbalance. That Sekhmet held the intelligence to dissolve it. They were called the priests of the Lady of Life.

Her fire was sacred intelligence knowing exactly what needed to burn so that what was true and whole could finally breathe.
She still carries that intelligence today.
